About Our Mold Base Construction

Our Aluminum injection mold bases have excellent machining finishes and have general tolerances of +/- .001”

7075 Aluminum

Our standard bases are made from 7075 aluminum. 7075 aluminum plate is a very strong grade of metal. It is well known for its toughness, which is why it is frequently used in aerospace and aviation applications.

Standard Industry Components

All mold base kits include standard industry PCS / DME components. Leader pins, bushings and return pins are included with every kit, along with optional locating ring and sprue bushing.

We are happy to quote additional custom machining options to save you time! Some ideas may include:
